Somewhere in New Year

SOMEWHERE IN NEW YEAR (2021)

Already trodden on a long, tiring path;

but New Year still remains a fresh start.

Somewhere environment changed drastically;

Somewhere human riches were spend heftily;

Somewhere inhumanity were sought;

Somewhere No one's willing to pay a penny for my thoughts!

From Empty Pockets to Empty Persons;

we have walked past a long mile

from indefinite past to 2021,

and many more to go..!

From a landline to mobile phones to each;

From traditional board to new online ways to teach.

From pale Blue-Pink sky to Rainbow - Pool!

From Inward view to latest Global tools.

From a by-product of British Rule 

to 4th largest Indian Railway Network in the World, overrule.

From ~3% GDP share to ~7% GDP share in the  world!

High in the sky,

India with its wings unfurled..!

But is that all??

Not as much as I can recall...

From hard sweat to sweet Nepotism;

From Real press to forced Journalism!

From forced Lockdown to Forced virtual Education;

Aishwarya (LSR student) knelt down to Digital Subjugation!

From Indira (Iron Lady) to Nirbhaya (Iron Rod)

Kathua, Unnao and Hathras to rise up the poll!

From Jai Jawaan Jai Kisaan to the so-called 'Khalistani Kisaan';

From Agricultural provider to Agricultural refugees!

From harmonized living to jingoist devotees!

From jovial Goa's Beaches to rewarding Goa's Coal mines;

Amazon Fires & COVID-19 are sign of the times!

But will this be all??

To make our long history of humanity to befall??

What will change? what will continue?

Who knows the answer? It could be you..!
