HAPPY?? TEACHERS DAY 

In every religion The God

asks us to walk on path righteous.

For this, The God didn't send a messenger, a messiah or an avatar,

The God sent us a 'Teacher'.

'Teacher' - just a 7-letter word,

stand tall with emancipating books and a pen as sword.

Facing challenges along with students, stand undeterred.

ready to change the future with students on board.

But how to reckon the future when the present is unstable, 

instead of pens and assignments, tied with screens and cables.

Missing students' contacts and understanding in rejoice,

smiling through the screens and notes over voice,

But they got no choice...

Amidst Pandemic, whole world shocked!

still carrying on emancipating education with doors locked.

Reminiscing over classrooms where students frolicked.

As if these burdens weren't heavy enough, 

even their monetary incentives (salaries & pensions) got blocked!

Teaching, as a full time profession, a magnanimous generosity;

But in this capitalist world,

Generosity depends upon affordability!

Situations has changed, from offline to online,

but so is the price.

For how long,

'exploitation' be termed as 'valor & sacrifice';

Gurus & adhyapaks (teachers) of India,

renowned internationally;

striking amidst pandemic with Khaali Thaali!
